EN 10139 Grade St2 cold rolled, skin passed (K32) introduction
The soft non-alloy steel St2, St12 acc. to DIN 1623/1, is suitable for cold forming. The steel is offered in different conditions (from K to K70) with different strength and cupping values.
The steel is applicated in the plant and tool engineering.
No stretcher lines in the conditions K40 to 70.
The steel is weldable, in the conditions K32 to K70 the strength can be decreased post welding.
