EN 10263-3 Grade 17Cr3 annealed to achieve spheroidized carbides and turned introduction

The cold-upsettable steel 17 Cr 3 is suitable for the manufacture of screws and nuts (soft-annealed condition with pre- and/or post treatment) used in automobile, motor and equipment construction and in general engineering. The steel finds additional use, amongst other things, for bevel gears, gear shafts, valve spring plates (for example in case-hardened condition).

Equivalent material: GB ML15Cr, BS 523M15, GOST 15Ch, PN 15HN, ASTM 4615, DIN 1.7016, AFNOR 17Cr3, BS 17Cr3, AISI 6118H, AISI 6118, SAE 6118H, SAE 6118, JIS SCr415H, JIS SCr415, EN 17Cr3, EN 1.7016, ISO 17Cr3, GOST 15ChA, GB/T 15CrA, GB/T 15CrH, GB/T A20155, ASTM 6118, UNS H61180, UNS G46150, UNS G61180
