EN 10263-3 Grade 16MnCr5 annealed to achieve spheroidized carbides and turned introduction
The cold-upsettable steel 16 MnCr 5 is suitable for the manufacture of screws and nuts (soft-annealed condition with pre- and/or post treatment) used in automobile, motor and equipment construction and in general engineering. The steel finds additional use, amongst other things, for bevel gears, gear shafts, valve spring plates (for example in case-hardened condition).
