EN 10222-5 Grade X2CrNiMoN22-5-3 solution annealed (+AT) introduction
Trademark X2CrNiMoN22-5-3 is comparable to X 2 CrNiMoN 22 5 3 acc. to SEW 400-91. This material is a ferritic-austenitic steel with high resistance to stress corrosion in chloride containing media. Favorable resistance to pitting corrosion and intercrystalline corrosion also in welded condition. The steel shows good general resistance in many corrosive media, such as organic and inorganic acids, resistance under acid gas conditions, good cold and warm formability and welding suitability.
Application: chemical and petrochemical industry, for pressure tanks, heat exchangers and tubes, in offshore-technics. Application temperature -10 to 280 °C.
