SEW 400 Grade X12CrNi17-7 quenched (+Q) introduction
Properties:
- austenitic CrNi-steel with lowered Cr and Ni content, thus in case of cold forming occurs strongly hardening
- sufficient corrosion resistance paired with high strength
Application:
- in cases there is demanded sufficient corrosion resistance paired with high strength
- beater bar and sheets for automobiles
- preferential application as wire or strip for stainless springs up to an application temperature of 300°C
- above 300°C reduction of cold hardening
