EN 10263-4 Grade 38Cr2 quenched and tempered (+QT)
EN 10263-4 Grade 38Cr2 quenched and tempered (+QT) introduction
The cold-upsettable steel 38 Cr 2 can be cold-formed with a medium rate of forming according to the usual forming methods on single-stage and multi-stage presses. It is used for screws of strength class 8.8 in the lower dimension range. The steel 38 Cr 2will be replaced with steel 35 B 2.
Equivalent material: NBN 38Cr2, AFNOR 38C2, BS 128M36, ISO C12, UNI 41Cr2KB, UNE F.1200-38Cr3, DIN 1.7003, AFNOR 38Cr2, BS 38Cr2, AISI 5140, SAE 5140, EN 38Cr2, EN 1.7003, ISO 37Cr2E, UNS G51400
