Steel 41CrS4 is suitable for mean loaded parts in vehicle, engine and machine engineering with mean heat-treatment sections and enhanced workability. (e.g. gear wheels, transmission shafts, axles). Lowest application temperature -25°C.
As a bright steel product it is used in the form of bars, bright, straight, in various conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10).
