EN 10250-4 Grade X3CrNiMoN27-5-2 solution annealed (+AT) introduction
The make X3CrNiMoN27-5-2 is comparable to X 4 CrNiMoN 27 5 2 acc. to SEW400 : 1991. The ferritic-austensitic steel shows low stress corrosion sensitivity. It shows better general corrosion resistance than 1.4362 and better machinability than austenites. The steel is charactrized by high abrasion resistance and favorable running characteristics, it is usable for mirror finishing. Therefore particularly suitable for shafts in acid pumps and for seawater exposed machine components. Further application in acetic acid, photo, cellulose and in dyeing industry. The material shows resistance to intercrystalline corrosion also in welded condition.
