DIN 17456 Grade X2CrTi12 soft annealed (+A)
DIN 17456 Grade X2CrTi12 soft annealed (+A) introduction
The material X2CrTi12 is a ferritic steel with high scaling resistance (in air up to 800 deg.) which has a certain corrosive resistance. The material does not show resistance to intercrystalline corrosion both in delivery and welded condition. Application primarily in automotive industry for silencers and for components of waste gas detoxification. The brand may be used as heat resistant steel acc. to DIN EN 10095.
Equivalent material: DIN 1.4512, DIN S235J0, DIN X6CrTi12, AFNOR Z3CT12, BS 409S19, UNE F.3121, AISI 409, SAE 409, JIS SUH409L, JIS SUS409LTP, JIS SUS409LTB, JIS SUS409TB, EN X2CrTi12, EN 1.4512, UNS S40900
