Properties:
- high resistance to pitting corrosion and intergranular corrosion (better than 1.4436)
- resistant to crack corrosion, with highest general resistance to many organic acids of high concentration and temperature, e.g. in not oxidizing acids and chloride containing media (sea water), also in inorganic and mixing acids
- application temperature: -200 to 550 °C
Application:
- in reactor industry, marine engineering, chemical industry
- for construction of pressure tanks suitably
