SEW 395 Grade GX2CrNiMoN18-14 solution heat-treated and quenched introduction
The fully austenitic material GX2CrNiMoN18-14, with the material number 1.3960 according to SEW 395-98 (the former G-X 2 CrNiMoN 18 14, material number 1.3952 according to SEW 395-87), possesses a defined low value of the relative magnetic permeability of 1.01 maximum (for castings with a wall thickness of up to 50 mm). It is applied for construction components which an interference or shielding of a magnetic field must not occur at.
