EN 10277-5 Grade 25CrMoS4 quenched and tempered and cold drawn (+QT+C) introduction

Steel 25CrMoS4 is suitable for parts of high strength and ductility demands and mean and higher heat-treatment sections as well as enhanced workability in vehicle, engine and machine engineering (e.g. crankshafts, steering knuckles, pinions). Lowest application temperature -40°C.
As a bright steel product it is used in the form of bars, bright, straight, in various conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10).
