EN 10270-1 Grade SL patented cold drawn

EN 10270-1 Grade SL patented cold drawn introduction

The patented cold drawn steel wire type SL (S-static load
L-low tensile strength) made of unalloyed steel is used for tension springs, compression springs or torsion springs for mostly low static load.
The wire will be delivered in rings (standard delivery type), coils or levelled bars. Different surface conditions by arrangement
if no arrangements where done, the condition is up to the producer. All surface types can be delivered with oiled surface. More information regarding surface conditions see EN 10270-1.

Equivalent material: IS SL, ISO SL, DIN A(1.0500), GB SL, JIS SWA, ASTM A227 Class I, UNS K06501, DIN 1.0500, DIN FederstahldrahtA, DIN SL, AFNOR SL, BS SL
