The make X5CrNiCuNb16-4 is comparable to X 5 CrNiCuNb 17 4 acc. to steel-code 1995 resp. acc. to steel-iron list 1994. The precipitation hardening steel is applicated for high strength requirements and concurrent favorable corrosion resistance, e.g. for screws, spindles and rotor disks.
