Steel C45 is suitable for mean loaded parts of higher dimensions (large forged parts) and complexer forms in vehicle and machine engineering (e.g. ship shafts, transmission parts, wheel hubs).
As a bright steel product the steel is used in the form of bars, bright, straight, in various conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10).
