EN 10132-4 Grade 56Si7 quenched and tempered (+QT) introduction
The steel 56Si7 is used as cold rolled strip for springs and special applications in thicknesses of up to 6 mm and as tempered cold strip in thicknesses from 0.30 to 3.00 mm. It is used for leaf springs, among other things.
