EN 10088-1 Grade X12Cr13 quenched and tempered (+QT650) introduction

Material X12Cr13 is comparable to X 10 Cr 13 acc. to DIN 17440 : 1985-07. The material is used for construction parts in water and steam and in mild media of food industry, predominantly in tempered condition (fitting parts, valve spindles, shafts, pump components, bolts, screws) with a honed or polishes surface. This material is allowed to be used as heat resistant steel acc. to DIN EN 10095 : 1999-05. Application temperature up to 550 °C (for the comparable DIN-material).
