Properties:
- in hardened state resistant to water and steam
- in annealed or high tempered state corrosion resitance is not sufficient
- application in hardened state with fine grounded or polished surface
Application:
- for manufacturing cutting tools (knife blades, scissors, surgical instruments)
- spherical for bearings, wear resistant control elements and parts for pumps, spring, plunger, srews
