DIN 1654-5 Grade X6CrNiTi18-10 cold drawn and quenched
DIN 1654-5 Grade X6CrNiTi18-10 cold drawn and quenched introduction
The steel X 6 CrNiTi 18 10 is well suited for cold-forming, however, one must be aware of the increased cold strain hardening compared to carbon steels. Cold-forming is not as good as with steel X 5 CrNi 18 12. The steel is used in chemical eqiupment construction, the fat- and soap industries for stainless steel screws, nuts and cold-extruded parts. It is used for corrosive damage from water, atmosphere and oxidizing acids of higher concentration and higher temperatures. Temperature of use: up to 550 degrees C (avoid the influence of substances causing intergranular corrosion).
Equivalent material: GB 0Cr18Ni11Ti, CSN 17247, AFNOR Z6CNT18-10, BS 321S12, GOST 12Ch18N10T, ISO D26, UNI X6CrNiTi18-11, JIS SUS321, PN 0H18N10T, SS 2337, UNE F.3523-X6CrNiTi18-11, ASTM 321, DIN 1.4541, DIN X10CrNiMoTi18-10, BS 321S51, UNI X6CrNiTi1811, UNE F.3553, UNE F.3523, AISI 321, SAE 321, JIS SUS321TPY, JIS SUS321TP, JIS SUS321TF, JIS SUS321TB, EN X6CrNiTi18-10, EN 1.4541, GOST 06Ch18N10T, GOST 08X18H10T, GOST 12X18H10T, UNS S32100, IS X04Cr18Ni10Ti
