AISI 4130 MODIFIED Quenched & Tempered Bar introduction
AISI 4130 is a low alloy C-steel containing chromium and molybdenum as strengthening agents. It has low carbon content, and hence it can be welded easily. It is supplied as round bar commonly in the hardened and tempered condition with a hardness of 18-22 HRc.
