SEW 520 Grade G14NiCrMo10-6 quenched and tempered (+QT)
SEW 520 Grade G14NiCrMo10-6 quenched and tempered (+QT) introduction
The material G14NiCrMo10-6 is suitable for fusion welding and is considered to have a good weldability, since it has been successfully used with good results in cast welding constructions, especially in combination with rolling mill and forged products made from quenchhardened high-strength fine-grain structural steels. In addition to high values for the 0.2% proof strength, the material distinguishes itself by relatively high values of the notch impact energy at the same time.
Application:
is chiefly applied in the mechanical engineering and the vehicle manufacturing, furthermore in the plant engineering and crane construction, in the offshore-technology as well as in the underground mining at climatically determined temperatures.
Equivalent material: DIN GS-14NiCrMo10-6, DIN 1.6779, DIN GS14NiCrMo10-6, EN GS14NiCrMo10-6, EN 1.6779
