SEW 470 Grade X10CrAlSi25 soft annealed (+A) introduction

The material X10CrAlSi25, mat. No 1.4762 is a heat-resistant steel of max. scaling resistance at 1150 °C (highest application temp. in air). The steel is highly resistant to oxidizing, sulfureous athmosphere. Low resistance in nitrogenous, oxygen deficient gases. The temp. limit in permanent operation accounts for 1000 °C: The steel has 3 embrittlement spans: 475 °C, 600 to 850 °C and above 900 °C. Application for oven components, gadgetries, annealing boxes for components of low mechanical load.
