ISO 4957 Grade X96CrMoV12 introduction
Properties:
- high chromium alloyed steel with additives ov Mo and V and strongly reduced carbon content
- good wear resistance and good cutting stability
- high toughness compared with the other 12%-Cr-steel
- well hardenable in depth
- good dimensional stability
Application:
- cutting and stamping tools
- knifes for rolling and blade shears for cutting of sheet with max. thickness of 8 mm
