EN 10277-4 Grade 16MnCrB5 treated to ferritic-pearlite structure and hardness range and cold-drawn (+FP+C)
EN 10277-4 Grade 16MnCrB5 treated to ferritic-pearlite structure and hardness range and cold-drawn (+FP+C) introduction
Steel 16MnCrB5 is suitable for predominantly wear loaded parts of favorable ductility behaviour in case hardened condition for vehicle and machine engineering (e.g. piston pins, camshafts).
As a bright steel product it is used in the form of bars, bright, straight, in various conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10).
Equivalent material: DIN 16MnCrB5, DIN 1.7160, EN 1.7160
