EN 10263-4 Grade 46Cr2 annealed to achieve spheroidized carbides (+AC) introduction

Because of its high carbon content, the cold-upsettable steel 46 Cr 2 can be processed in cold condition only with a small to medium rate of forming. It is used for screws and bolts of strength class 8.8 in the lower dimension range. The steel 46 Cr 2 will be replaced with steel 35 B 2.
