EN 10213 Grade G17NiCrMo13-6 quenched and tempered (+QT) introduction
Material G17NiCrMo13-6 is equivalent to trademark GS-18 NiCrMo 12 6 acc. to SEW520-90. It is used at low temperatures. It is applicated in pressure vessel and vehicle construction, in plant and crane construction, in offshore engineering as well as in mine support at temperatures conditional on climate. The cast material is suitable for fusion welding and well weldable. It has proved itself in composite welding constructions, especially in compound with rolled and forged products made of high-strength tempered welding constructions. It is characterized by high 0,2% proof strength values and relatively high notch impact energy values.
