The steel 56SiCr7 is used for hot formed springs, like leaf springs up to 7 mm thickness for the vehicle engineering as well as for coil springs and diaphragm springs also for the mechanical engineering.
Equivalent material: DIN 55SiCr7, DIN 1.7106, DIN 56SiCr7, AFNOR 56SiCr7, BS 251A58, EN 1.7106
