S275J2G3 is a fine grained steel for welding constructions of dynamic load. The steel is applicated up to temperatures of -20°C. Compared to S235J2G3 is achievable a saving of material due to the by 40 MPa higher yield point.
For this steel are available (mat. No 1.0141 acc. to DIN EN 10025) grades for:
- folding (KQ)-S275J2G3C
- cold forming of sections (KP)-S275J2G3C
- cold drawing (KZ)-S275J2G3C
