DIN 17230 Grade 48CrMo4 quenched and tempered (+QT) introduction
48 CrMo 4 is an anti-friction bearing steel that can be refined and induction hardened. In the Jominy test it reaches surface hardnesses of approximately 65 HRC. It is used for larger dimensions of anti-friction bearing parts (rings and discs).
