DIN 17230 Grade 44Cr2 quenched and tempered (+QT) introduction

44 Cr 2 is an anti-friction bearing steel that can be refined and induction hardened. In the Jominy test it reaches surface hardnesses of approximately 62 HRC. It is used for discs and anti-friction bearing parts of larger dimensions.
