DIN 17182 Grade GS-8Mn7 quenched and tempered (+QT)
DIN 17182 Grade GS-8Mn7 quenched and tempered (+QT) introduction
In comparison to the unalloyed cast steel grades according to DIN 1681, the materials of this group show distinctly higher values of the notch impact energy. As a result of their low carbon content (0.23 per cent maximum), they are well suitable for welding.
Equivalent material: DIN G8Mn7, DIN 1.5015, EN 1.5015
