DIN 1614-1 Grade St22
DIN 1614-1 Grade St22 introduction
Base product for the production of cold rolled sheet and strip acc. DIN 1623-1 and DIN 1624 (replaced by DIN EN 10139 :1997-12). The desoxidation method is up to producers choice.
For coating purposes the kind of the coatings have to be pointed in the order.
The intended further processing of the hot strip to cold rolled flats with the surface types 05 (acc. DIN 1623-1) as well as RP or RPG (acc. DIN 1624) have to be specified in the order.
The weldability is given for the common methods, but the method should also specified in the order.
Equivalent material: DIN 1.0320, EN 1.0320
